Product Manager

Who we are looking for.

Researcher, thinker, integrator. We are looking for someone to drive the right features, at the right time keeping product stability as a priority. Quality and efficiency are part of your DNA – you’ll build and own the road map and deployment plan – in collaboration with key stakeholders of course. Being a process ninja would be awesome too.

What you will do.

You will balance your knowledge of the business, the customers and the dev team to set the path for releasing high quality features often. You’ll stay on top of industry trends and identify the right steps to meet customer needs. Your process skills will allow you to improve efficiency and remove blockers for the dev team by identifying workflows, business rules and user stories that need to be implemented.

Your responsibilities.

  • Identify and manage new features and releases through the full product lifecycle;
  • Deliver high quality product releases on a high frequency and iterative basis;
  • Work with the VP of Product to continuously update the product vision and product roadmap;
  • Build, groom and maintain sprint backlogs in JIRA to ensure we’re always ahead of the game;
  • Work closely with technical leads to define and communicate a tactical project plan that delivers the most value as early and as frequently as possible;
  • Identify product and technical issues and recommend and track solutions;
  • Know the product inside and out.

Your qualifications.

  • Minimum of 5 years product management or product development experience in a web application environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends;
  • Great communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and experience navigating unchartered water or starting a new initiative;
  • Experience working in an agile environment with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment;
  • You know how to manage changing requirements of a product and can prioritize bugs, technical debt and new features within a Backlog;
  • Hands on experience creating and leading tech products.

Attributes and nice to haves.

  • Previous experience in a similar or related product area, preferably finance, B2B SaaS or tech startup;
  • Project management and business analysis experience;
  • BS/BA in Engineering or similar field is a plus.

Strategic Partnership Manager

Who we are looking for.

If you are a hunter with a dynamic personality, are a highly motivated self-starter able to qualify, work through the Sales cycle and close deals in the mid-market/commercial space, we definitely want to talk to you!

What you will do.

The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities, managing a pipeline and closing business.

Your responsibilities.

  • Build a pipeline of opportunities by following up on leads and by running prospecting campaigns via email, social media and calls. ;
  • Qualifying prospective clients;
  • Working the Sales cycle to a close and meet Sales targets;
  • Keeping complete and accurate CRM database records on prospective accounts and contacts;
  • Collaborate with the team on sales opportunities, providing feedback our product management and marketing ;

Your qualifications.

  • 3 years sales experience for a SaaS or software company;
  • Financial sector experience or financial background a plus ;
  • Comfortable with the “C” suite, great presence and polish;
  • Passionate about your work with a growth mindet;
  • Flexible, fast learner, self-motivated and goal oriented;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ;
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the US;
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a plus;
